Farm visits, spending overnights in homestays, traditional beer brewing demonstrations, guided tours through banana plantations, local milking processes and Museum tours are some of the authentic cultural experiences you should expect from this 10 days Cultural Safari in Uganda and Rwanda.</p><p><strong>Safari in details.</strong></p><p><strong>Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and drop-off at Kampala Hotel.</strong></p><p>On jetting-into Uganda via Entebbe International Airport, our Company representative will be already at the Airport with placards waiting to welcome you into the country. Afterwards you will be driven to your place of stay within the Capital (Kampala).</p><p><strong>Day 2: City tour &#8211; Lubiri Royal Palace and Amin’s Torture Chambers.</strong></p><p>Start the second day with a Continental breakfast at your Kampala Hotel then pick-up by your safari driver. Afterwards leave the Hotel and head to Mengo, one of the original seven hills of Kampala and location of Lubiri Royal Palace. Set up in 1885, Lubiri is the historical/official residence of King (Kabaka) of Buganda. A visit to this site offers visitors the opportunity of learning about the interesting history of the most popular Kingdom in Uganda in addition to exploring Amin’s Torture Chambers. If time permits, also check-out the man-made Kabaka’s Lake a stone throw from the Palace. Enjoy lunch from one of the City eateries before continuing for your next cultural experience.</p><p>After delicious Lunch, continue to Kasubi Royal Tombs, final resting place for four of Buganda’s former Kings. You will be mesmerized by the spiritual, historical and traditional value of the site. Close the day with a cultural dance performance at the Kasubi Royal Tombs and drive back to your Hotel for a lovely dinner and overnight.</p><p><strong>Day 3: Kampala to Nshenyi Village, over 340 kilometers and 6 hours’ drive</strong></p><p>Hotel pick-up in the morning and proceed to Nshenyi Village, about 340 kilometers and 6 hours’ drive from the Capital. A stopover at Uganda Equator to stretch legs, enjoy a cup of coffee and take photos at the monumental landmark as well as en-route Lunch.</p><p>En-route also enjoy the beautiful sceneries and vibrant faces of roadside Ugandans going about their daily hustles. On arrival, get checked-in and settle in at the Farm Guest House for a traditional dinner and overnight.</p><p><strong>Day 4: Guided Nshenyi Village tours (spraying cattle, milking and ghee making).</strong></p><p>Breakfast then undertake guided tours of Nshenyi Farm village with a myriad of cultural activities to undertake. In the morning as the cattle leave their enclosures/Kraals take part in hand-milking them. Later participate in traditional ghee making where you will even enjoy a meal with typical Ugandan ghee.</p><p>After your Lunch, head for a one-hour walk to the cattle watering area where with the help of local guides you will also participate in watering the animals. The activity is exciting and trust our judgment that you will love and enjoy it. In the evening settle for a performance from the Traditional dance group, dinner and overnight stay at the Farm Guest House.</p><p><strong>Day 5: Nshenyi Village to Kisoro Town.</strong></p><p>Start this beautiful day early with breakfast at your place of stay at Nshenyi Village Farm then proceed to Kisoro district through Kabale town, south-western Uganda. Arrive late in the evening for overnight and dinner.</p><p><strong>Day 6: Kisoro Town-Kigali City.</strong></p><p>After breakfast, leave the Town of Kisoro for Kigali City. It takes about 4-5 hours including processing border procedures and continue to your booked Hotel for late Lunch, dinner and overnight. Rest and relax at the Hotel for the remainder of the evening while preparing for the start of your Rwandan cultural experience.</p><p><strong>Day 7: Tour the Richard Kandt House Museum, Nyamata and Ntarama Churches (Genocide Memorial Centers).</strong></p><p>On this day at 7:00am, you will be picked up from your Kigali Hotel and head to the Kandt House Museum on Nyarugenge Hill within the Capital. The structure housing this Museum was built in 1907 and was the former home of Richard Kandt- a German physician and Explorer to Africa. It displays the evolution of life, description of fauna and flora in the country’s main Parks and many others.</p><p>Later be served a sumptuous meal at your Hotel then continue for tours of the Genocide Memorial Sites within the City. These two Churches introduce visitors to the traumatic 1994 Genocide history of Rwanda. Later return to your Hotel for a moment of relaxation, dinner and overnight.</p><p><strong>Day 8: Drive to Musanze district then undertake a tour of the Caves</strong></p><p>A hefty breakfast is a perfect way to start this day, then continue to Musanze district, at the Northern province of Rwanda. Drive straight to the popular Musanze Caves, believed to have existed for over 65 million years.</p><p>Learn about this magnificent natural wonder and hidden gem, how it was used as a hiding place during the 1994 Rwanda Genocide as well as the fact that it is beautifully designed with stair-like features. Overnight and lovely moonlight dinner at one of the stunning accommodation facilities in Musanze.</p><p><strong>Day 9: All-day tour at the Gorilla Guardian Village</strong></p><p>You will dedicate the entire day to exploring about Rwandan culture through the visit to Gorilla Guardian Village. A range of cultural activities are organized here and they include traditional banana beer brewing, touring the replica of the King’s Palace to learn about the rich history of Rwanda, learn about traditional hunting, learn how to prepare local foods and even dine with the locals, visits to the traditional medicine man, traditional dance performances and end the day with a match with the local team. At sunset return to the same place of stay (as previous night) for dinner and overnight.</p><p><strong>Day 10: Drive back to the City of Kigali</strong></p><p>Have breakfast and be driven back to the City for a proper City tour exploring more of popular tourist sites and do last shopping before being dropped-off at the Airport. This trip takes you to Murchison Falls National Park &#8211; home to the most powerful waterfalls; Ziwa Rhino sanctuary; Kibale Forest National Park; Queen Elizabeth National Park and the misty jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.</p><p>You will encounter unique primate species, birds and mammals at large, while engaging in a game drive, boat cruise in the cool waters, chimpanzee trekking, gorilla trekking, cultural encounter and guided nature walks.  The trip is centered around the western safari circuit, with plenty to admire, photograph and learn.  The safari starts and ends at Entebbe international airport.</p><p><strong>Detailed trip.</strong></p><p><strong>Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls national park &#8211; Rhino tracking in Ziwa rhino sanctuary.</strong></p><p>After a safe landing at Entebbe international airport, meet our company representative who will welcome you to the Pearl of Africa &#8211; Uganda. You will be briefed and offered a glass of fresh juice, before hitting the road to northwestern region, through the buzzing streets, magnificent buildings and active city dwellers.</p><p>The drive to Murchison Falls National Park lasts for roughly 5-6 hours, with enroute stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for one hour of rhino tracking and then lunch. Afterwards, you will proceed to your lodge in the park for refreshment, dinner and peaceful nap.</p><p><strong>Day 2: Game drive and evening boat cruise.</strong></p><p>You will kick start the morning with a yummy breakfast meal at the lodge and then go for a game drive in the park’s northern sector, dotted with sweeping savannah grassland and variety of mammals, birds and primates. The game drive lasts for roughly 3-4 hours, with hopes of encountering the cape buffaloes, waterbucks and giraffes, herds of elephants, lions and leopards among others.</p><p>After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch, followed by a boat cruise to the bottom of the most powerful waterfalls on earth, which offers rewarding views of the Nile crocodiles, hippos and the giant thundering waters squeezing through a 7 meter gorge to the Nile. Dinner and overnight come last on the day&#8217;s program.</p><p><strong>Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park.</strong></p><p>Early morning, check out of the lodge after breakfast for 7-8 hours’ drive to Kibale Forest National Park &#8211; primate capital in the continent of Africa.  The drive offers amazing views of the breathtaking landscape, plantations and dotted homesteads in the countryside.</p><p>You will enjoy an enroute lunch stopover, before proceeding to your lodge around the park or Fort portal city for dinner and overnight. Kibale Forest National Park is so safe for visits and a host to 13 rare primate species.</p><p><strong>Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Isunga community walk.</strong></p><p>Get to the park headquarters very early in the morning after breakfast, for registration and briefing by ranger guides, who will explain chimp tracking dos and don&#8217;ts. Tracking chimpanzees is done on foot and demands attention and passion, as you will be encountering some other residents around the park such as the L&#8217;Hoest’s monkeys, red-tailed monkeys and white and black Colobus monkeys. Depending on how far the Apes have moved, you will spend roughly 2-5 hours searching and an extra hour watching the apes feed, interact and rest, as well as take photos.</p><p>After spending time with your cousins, return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon cultural experience in Isunga community, located at the park boundaries. After the interactions, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.</p><p><strong>Day 5: Crater tours and evening transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.</strong></p><p>After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge for a transfer to the medley of wonders &#8211; Queen Elizabeth National Park. But for two hours, you will explore the different crater lakes around fort portal city. You will appreciate the beauty and stunning landscape of the place, get in for lunch and then proceed to the park. The route offers breathtaking views of the rolling hills, plantations, and captivating landscape.</p><p>Arrive and refresh at the lodge, before having an evening game drive, dinner and overnight. The evening / night game drive offers a great opportunity of spotting nocturnal creatures and night hunters like hyenas, lions and leopards.</p><p><strong>Day 6: Game drive and Boat cruise.</strong></p><p>From bed to the breakfast table and then to wilderness; this day has the best of what a complete safari offers. You will spend three to four hours in your safari vehicle, watching the mammals, birds and plants. Some of the common residents include Cape Buffaloes, African elephants, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks and hippos among others. Hyenas, lions and leopards are present in the park but only spotted on lucky days.</p><p>After the search, harmonize with your enzymes and a lip-smacking lunch meal and thereafter go for a boat cruise at Kazinga channel, where for about two hours you will spot variety of aquatic birds, crocodiles and hippos among others. End the day with dinner and a peaceful nap.</p><p><strong>Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable national park – tracking the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector.</strong></p><p>After breakfast, you will depart the lodge for Bwindi Impenetrable national Park-home to the endangered mountain Gorillas. You will use the route via the Ishasha sector, where you will spend about an hour tracking the rare tree-climbing lions lazily lying at the tree branches. You will have a lunch enroute at Topi lodge, before driving to the sector, while spotting empty v-shaped valleys, winding hills and plantations. Close this day with dinner and peaceful nap.</p><p><strong>Day 8: Gorilla trekking and Batwa pygmies visit.</strong></p><p>Brighten your morning with a cup of coffee and drive to the sector headquarters for registration and pre-trekking briefing by ranger guides. Gorilla trekking is an exciting activity that engages all the trackers. The apes are reportedly one of man&#8217;s closest relatives, sharing about 95% similar DNA.</p><p>You will spend approximately 2-7 hours deep in the jungle searching, from the point they were seen the previous time to where they could be. A maximum of 1 hour is given to you to take photos, relax and ask questions before heading for lunch.</p><p>After eating and some relaxation, you can visit the Batwa pygmies-some of the shortest people on earth to uncover their former life as Hunters and gatherers. Enjoy the village walk, dances, and music, before settling for dinner and overnight at the lodge</p><p><strong>Day 9: Departure.</strong></p><p>After a sunrise breakfast meal at the lodge, checkout for a transfer to Kampala or Entebbe international airport. Mountain gorillas, chimpanzees and golden monkeys are the main primates of this safari but the vervet monkeys, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, Patas and others alongside African forest and bush elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, duikers, bushbucks, Topis, Uganda Kobs and spotted hyenas should also be expected during this long safari.</p><p><strong>Detailed Itinerary</strong></p><p><strong>Day 1: Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park, western Uganda via Mubende</strong></p><p>Once you leave Kampala in our customized and comfortable 4WD Vehicle, head westwards along the Kampala-Mityana-Mubende-Fort Portal Highway. Stop for a brief cultural tour at Nakayima Ancestral Tree then another 3 hours westwards, make a stop at Fort Portal Town for Lunch. Perhaps enjoy a Crater tour before continuing to your booked Lodge for dinner and overnight.</p><p><strong>Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, in the western part of Uganda</strong></p><p>Before leaving your Safari Lodge for briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Center, enjoy a delicious breakfast and meet other trekkers for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority Ranger guide. Then begin the 1-4 hour search for the endangered chimpanzees passing open and heavily forested areas on the way and come across different primates especially grey-cheeked mangabeys, olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys and many others while sights and sounds of different bird species is also a must. If you are done with the chimpanzee trekking experience, return back to the Lodge for Lunch.</p><p>Close the day with a guided nature walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, filled with different wetland bird species, a number of primates and surrounded by lush wetland vegetation. Spend the night and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the beautiful Safari Lodges in or around Kibale Forest National Park.</p><p><strong>Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park, boat cruise</strong></p><p>Proceed 3-4 hours’ to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the home to over 95 species of mammals and about 600 species of birds in varying ecosystems. Refuel with lunch on arrival at the Park and later enjoy a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. The most popular and rewarding experience in this Park is undoubtedly the boat cruise where the highest concentration of Hippos and Nile crocodiles as well as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and Defassa waterbucks can be spotted. There are plenty of options for places to stay in this Park and you will get to experience one of them.</p><p><strong>Day 4: Game Viewing and trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking experience</strong></p><p>After breakfast, dedicate half the day exploring the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park through a game drive where different landscapes, animals and birds will be spotted. There are numerous scenic game tracks in this Park, where lions, Defassa waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Cape buffaloes, Topis, warthogs, leopards, spotted hyenas, Oribis and Hippos will be seen. The afternoon will find you in Ishasha sector for a chance to see the tree-climbing lions and continue driving to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with lunch en-route at Savannah Resort Kihihi. Stay overnight within any of the outstanding Safari Lodges in the jungles, where you will relish a deliciously fresh meal.</p><p><strong>Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla trekking Experience and option cultural tour</strong></p><p>After an early morning breakfast, move or drive to the Park Headquarters (based on the chosen trekking sector/region). Attend briefing from the UWA Ranger guide lasting 20-30 minutes and later start the trek through the jungles of Bwindi to find the allocated gorilla group. As their name suggests, mountain gorillas live high in the mountains hence trekkers require basic to moderate physical fitness and treks last up to 6 hours through rugged terrains, valleys and sometimes crossing streams. Spend one hour with the gorillas and descend to the starting point to receive your gorilla trekking certificate.</p><p>Spend your afternoon/evening in the community exploring their riveting traditional dances, unique way of life (crop cultivation and grinding millet with grinding stones). Stay at the same safari Lodge offering comfortable rooms and delicious meals.</p><p><strong>Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable Park to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, cultural experience</strong></p><p>From Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, it is about 2-4 hours’ drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (depending on the trekking sector/region) via spectacular rolling hills. Arrive to a hot meal and in the evening get a chance to learn about the aboriginal culture of Batwa people, prepare and taste local dishes, be treated to an interesting traditional dance experience and later stay at some of the exquisite accommodation facilities providing cozy rooms and mouth-watering meals.</p><p><strong>Day 7: Mgahinga Golden Monkey tracking experience</strong></p><p>This day you will move or be picked up from your accommodation for the briefing at Ntebeko Visitor Center, before undertaking the Mgahinga Golden Monkey tracking experience. While this adventure is the main highlight of the day, Mgahinga (Uganda’s smallest Park) is also haven to extraordinary bird species including Albertine Rift endemics. Spend one hour with the golden monkeys after hours of searching for them.</p><p>Afterwards, drive for one and a half hours to Lake Mutanda for a boat cruise and also get a chance to soak in the warm Tropical sunshine. This beautiful adventure returns you to your beautiful place of stay for dinner and fresh delicious meal.</p><p><strong>Day 8: All-day drive back to Kampala City or Entebbe International Airport</strong></p><p>On the last day of the safari, rise early because of the long drive (8-9 hours) to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way refuel with a hot meal and arrive your final destination in the evening. It is currently the most populous Park when it comes to mountain gorilla numbers with over 450 individuals and over 18 habituated gorilla groups. Besides gorilla trekking other interesting things to do in the Park are mountain biking, guided forest walks, bird watching and cultural tours outside the Park.</p><p>Masai Mara National Reserve is a 1510-square kilometer Protected Area found in Kenya’s River Valley Province. It is marked by sweeping area f gently rolling African savannah plains dotted by big give game (Rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopards), wildebeests, Kobs, Impalas, gazelles, Grant’s zebras, Defassa waterbucks, cheetahs and many others.</p><p><strong>Detailed Itinerary</strong></p><p><strong>Day 1: Arrival at Uganda’s only International Airport</strong></p><p>Arrive in Entebbe International Airport, known as the gateway into Uganda, via an International Flight. These unique national parks offer the best sights and sounds and you won&#8217;t regret visiting.</p><p>They are located almost in the same region and this means less distance is covered not exceeding 4 or 5 hours. This safari suits all groups of people depending on the budget and movements can be reversed. The safari will expose you to four of the big five animals, the giant primates like mountain gorillas, water animals like hippos and crocodiles, antelopes like the Uganda kobs, impalas, elands, bushbucks, waterbucks, oribis among others.</p><p><strong>Detailed itinerary.</strong></p><p><strong>Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.</strong></p><p>Pick up at any agreed point around Kampala or Entebbe, by the driver guide who is well experienced with East African terrain and roads will brief you, pack your luggage and transfer you to the most visited national park in Uganda, also well known to have the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. This park has different areas that are unique in different ways. For example Kazinga channel with migratory birds like pelicans, terns among others and reptile animals like crocodiles and hippos.</p><p>Lake Nyamunuka with its concentration of wild animals and birds, this place is themed as the healing point for wildlife. Kyambura gorge with its chimpanzees and unique birds among others. The journey is rewarding with beautiful scenery of Rwenzori ranges, tea plantations and on arrival, you will check in the accommodation for dinner.</p><p><strong>Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.</strong></p><p>Wake up early and take an early morning game drive to be able to spot cats in the Savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park including lions, leopards, civets, serval cats and these normally wake up early to hunt for their unsuspecting prey. If you are lucky enough, spot them hunting the antelopes such as Uganda kobs, Oribis, bushbucks and waterbucks. You will return to the lodge after 2 hours of cruising on the Kazinga channel.</p><p><strong>Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi national park.</strong></p><p>Have morning breakfast and drive slowly through the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will spot more wildlife that you might have missed the previous day and others you will be enjoying them the more like the elephants, antelopes, buffalos, warthogs among others. As you are about to leave this park, you reach the home of rare tree-climbing lions, the Ishasha sector and again spot more wildlife that co-habit with these lions such as the elephants and antelopes.</p><p>Later on proceed and find your way to the national park that boasts over half of the world’s gorilla population, Bwindi National Park. This park has over 18 habituated gorilla families that offer tourists a chance to trek and visit them every day. Not only that, this park is a birders’ haven with over 400 bird species including 23 rift valley endemics and 14 which cannot be spotted elsewhere in the pearl of Africa-Uganda. And on arrival, you will be transferred to the booked accommodation.</p><p><strong>Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience.</strong></p><p>Gorilla trekking normally begins immediately after briefing, which is strictly done at the park headquarters. The briefing is done to get familiar with the activity carried out and to create great memories through conservation. During this 30 minutes exercise, you will know more about the forest and its inhabitants, rules and regulations to guide you while trekking the gorillas, necessities while trekking among others.</p><p>Start the trek in your group of 8 visitors and rangers, you will be allowed to be a distance of 10m from the gorillas while enjoying their presence after locating them. Other attractions are always around you like unique plant species, bird species and other mammals. After that great moment, trek out of the jungle and then transfer to the hotel for leisure afternoon.</p><p><strong>Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park.</strong></p><p>Wake up at glaze and enjoy your breakfast while ready to take a road trip to Lake Mburo national park. This is one of the savannah parks in the pearl of Africa. It is located in Kiruhura district but the nearest city is Mbarara.</p><p>You will have the main enroute stopover in Mbarara where you will have lunch and maybe take a visit to the Igongo cultural Centre. This place offers a great adventure to enjoy Kigezi-Ankole cultures to admire different art pieces displayed in the museum, traditional dishes and dress code among others. The impalas, zebras and Ankole long-horned cattle will welcome you as you approach the premises of the park. You will check in the accommodation facility for your dinner and a great time in Lake Mburo national park.</p><p><strong>Day 6: Lake Mburo national park exploration.</strong></p><p>Here you have different options to choose from, ranging from a game drive that you will take in the morning where different animals, bird species and plant species will be discovered. The game drive takes about 3 hours. Another option you can take is the nature walk that is well guided by armed park rangers and this normally happens on foot in areas with fewer predators. You can also take a horseback safari around the park to be able to enjoy wildlife more closely.</p><p>Animals like impalas, zebras, elands, Topi, waterbucks, bushbucks, buffalos, leopards, hyenas among others can be seen more closely. The activity normally takes not more than 3hours and after disembark to the lodge for a break.</p><p>You will then head to Lake Mburo and this is the biggest lake in the park hence good for a boat cruise. You will be informed about the trip, including details on what will happen throughout the 7-day journey in two of Africa&#8217;s most popular safari areas.</p><p>You will travel west through Fort Portal City to the lush jungle of Kibale Forest National Park, an exhilarating 6-7 hours’ journey while admiring the scenery. Lunch will be served en route, and you will arrive at the lodge in the evening for refreshment, dinner, and a relaxing snooze.</p><p><strong>Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp / community walk.</strong></p><p>You&#8217;ll wake up to a hearty breakfast at the resort before heading to the park headquarters for a wonderful 2- to 5-hour Chimpanzee trekking excursion, which will begin with a pre-trekking briefing by an expert ranger guide. Before guiding you on your hunt across the Jungle, the guide will discuss the trekking dos and don&#8217;ts. The ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a diverse range of vegetation and fauna, including the rare tree climbing lions. An expert ranger guide gives a pre-trekking lecture, explaining the trekking laws and assigning a maximum of eight people to a Gorilla group to track. Gorillas are both peaceful and thrilling creatures, with almost 98 percent of their genes resembling those of humans. They can only be found in the tropical jungles of Africa, where they make their home. The tracking experience lasts about 2-6 hours after the briefing, plus an extra hour for photographing and questions. Gorillas live in groups, each led by a dominant silverback who poses and protects the family members.</p><p>You will return to the resort for lunch after the hiking, followed by relaxed afternoon at the lodge or an afternoon Musanze cave excursion. Musanze Cave is a historically significant cave in Rwanda, located about 2 kilometers from the Volcanoes National Park. It is situated in the northwestern part of Uganda, a 5-6 hours’ drive from the Capital city Kampala.</p><p>Queen Elizabeth national park on the other hand is the second largest conservation area, the most gifted in terms of wildlife and the most visited. This park is located in western Uganda, overshadowed by the backdrop of the giant snowcapped Mountain Rwenzori. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is another trip highlight, located in Nakasongola district and the only habitat for Rhinos in the country. You will do game drives, boat cruises, top of the falls visit and Rhino tracking experience during these 6 days. The game drive lasts for about 3-4 hours and takes you through several territories and breathtaking scenery. Aside from the distinctive vegetation, you&#8217;ll be on the lookout for uncommon hunters such as leopards and lions, as well as common residents including the water bucks, Cape Buffaloes, African elephants and much more.</p><p>Following a picture shoot, return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on an afternoon boat excursion to the bottom of the world&#8217;s most powerful waterfall on earth. You&#8217;ll arrive at your lodge late in the evening after the trip for a delicious dinner, and a relaxing snooze.</p><p><strong>Day 4: chimpanzee trekking and crater tours.</strong></p><p>Make this morning exceptional by starting with a delicious breakfast meal. After that, proceed to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for registration and a ranger guide briefing. Chimpanzees reside deep in the jungle with nearly a dozen other primate species, including white and black Colobus monkeys, Vervet monkeys, olive baboons and others. Don&#8217;t forget about the birds, and other forest creatures like elephants and buffaloes and rare plants.</p><p>A briefing session lasts around 30 minutes, and the hunt lasts between 2 and 5 hours, while you follow the plants, nests, and pleasant tunes. Chimpanzees act and behave like humans, with a distinct sound that sticks in the mind.</p><p>You&#8217;ll drive back to the lodge for lunch after spending an hour with your relatives, followed by a trip back to the lodge for lunch.
