The Park shelters 12 other primate species, over 350 bird species and visitors who explore this Park can also get a chance to visit the nearby Bigodi wetland Sanctuary.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the four mountain gorilla trekking destinations and shelters at least half the population of these Great Apes in over 40 groups, 19 of which were habituated for trekking.
